The F60-Screen utilizes all of the time-proven advantages of the Symons F Screens plus incorporated new features. Larger and stronger, the F60 Screen is a heavy duty unit with more screen cloth area and greater capacity.

DESCRIPTION

Consisting of four major parts:

1 - Screening Deck is of rigid box construction carrying surfaces on removable steel frames.

2 - Balance Deck consists of heavy steel bars on each side of the screening deck. The feed box is mounted on these heavy bars and becomes part of the balance deck. A built-in vibrating feed box with distributor spreads material over the width of the screen at the head end, utilizing every inch of the screen surface.

3 - Steel Channel Base is attached to the screening and balance deck by support springs. These springs are made of thin alloy strips clamped together and set at an angle of 60 degrees to horizontal.

4 - Shaft Assembly is bolted solidly to the balance deck and flexibility connected to the screening deck by four drive springs, which translates the rotary eccentric action to the shaft to a positive reciprocating action of the screening deck, without use of reciprocating bearings. Very little vibration is transmitted to the base.

FEATURES

Shaft Assembly

Redesigned to provide for greater bearing loads and relieve the build-up of end-thrust from the heat of operation.

Two sizes are available, including a heavy duty unit with 130mm drive bearings.

Drive Springs

Are set up on an angle for a more favorable pull on the screening deck, resulting in less load on the bearings and longer life for the drive and support springs.

Clearances

Increased clearances improve maintenance operations and assure easy passage of material under heavy load conditions.

Low headroom and legal width provide outstanding features for portability.

Screen Frames

Held in place by clamping inside the deck. It is not necessary to work outside the deck to remove the screen frames. Clamp bolts are easily accessible for use of power tools.

Cloth Arrangement

Side stretch cloth arrangement is available to reduce downtime when frequent cloth changes are required. Spring tensioned clamp plates eliminate the need to remove the clamp side bolts when changing the cloth.
